Gabriela Tamariz is a Nicaraguan-Canadian-American line producer & agency producer, based in New York City.

For the past 12 years, she’s been producing commercials, short films, short documentaries, web series, photography, television and film. Her production career has been a unique, diverse and non-traditional path that has led her to work with some of her favorite brands, ad agencies, celebrity talent, comedians, friends and newcomers.

Her first independent feature film as a line producer / unit production manager / post production supervisor, Bunny, premiered at SXSW Film & TV Festival 2025 and is currently streaming on Netflix. The New York Times named it Critic’s Pick and here’s what Deadline had to say about it. Her next feature is a sci-fi/thriller/comedy that is currently in post production.

In 2026, she line produced Mary Beth Barone’s comedy special Galaxy Brain, which is currently streaming on Netflix. She also worked as a production supervisor on sketch comedy shows such as HBO’s Fantasmas and MAX’s That Damn Michael Che Show.

As a senior advertising producer, she is experienced working direct with brands, collaborating with ad agencies, and producing as a third-party vendor. She is most experienced with live action productions, but has also dabbled in virtual productions, animation and CGI. She can agency produce — overseeing the entire production process from concept to delivery… or she can line produce your shoot — booking the crew, locations & equipment.

Gabriela spent her childhood in Canada, New York and Florida. She’s a TV nerd, stand-up comedy lover and cookie monster. She grew up on Seinfeld, The Simpsons and telenovelas. She speaks English, Spanish and can kinda get by with some very little French. Her favorite bands are Spoon and Peter Cat Recording Company. Her favorite comedy films are Young Frankenstein and Dumb & Dumber.
